Computational Electromagnetic Solutions Lab (CEMS Lab)

CEMS Lab studies electromagnetic fields and waves as engineering systems: antennas and propagation channels, indoor RF environments, BioEM devices, and industrial microwave heating platforms. The common language is computational electromagnetics, grounded in Maxwell-equation-based modeling and checked against evidence.

The lab connects field theory, numerical solvers, measured data, and application constraints. Depending on the problem, the workflow may involve full-wave simulation, parabolic-equation propagation analysis, ray tracing, inverse modeling, EM-thermal coupling, surrogate modeling, or sensor-informed calibration.

Field theory, computation, measurement, and engineering evidence are developed together.

A good CEMS result is not just a colorful field plot. It should explain the assumptions, show the relevant physical quantity, compare against a reference or measurement when possible, and leave a figure or workflow that can be reused in design, diagnosis, or collaboration.
